Hey there,
Just had to share this cozy adventure with you. So, after a long drive, Finn and I finally made it to our cozy cabin in Austria. Picture this: a rustic little place in the middle of the Austrian wilderness. The owner, practically family at this point, welcomed us with open arms. Finn was doing his usual sniffing around, and I got the fireplace crackling for a perfect evening. You know, the whole nine yards.
Now, here's the kicker. I had big plans to be a photography pro with my fancy new camera, but guess what? It just didn't happen. Instead, I found myself reaching for my good old notebook and pen. There's just something about jotting down thoughts with your own hand that's so satisfying, you know?
I made fire every day because our cabin was self-sufficient, and in order to have hot showers, I had to kindle the fireplace beside the shower place. There's something very cozy about it. The crackling sound, the warmth spreading through the cabin – it became a daily ritual that added to the charm of our retreat. And, let's not forget the lunch preparations. I crafted a lovely lunch for myself every day, and yes, even Finn had his own version. We cherished our morning walks, exploring the serenity of the dark, and then, after Finn's breakfast, we indulged in some well-deserved extra sleep.
As the sun did its thing and dipped below the horizon, Finn and I found ourselves on the ground, soaking in the last warm rays. Well, I was soaking them in. Finn? Probably contemplating the meaning of life or something profound, as dogs do.
Anyway, just wanted to share this slice of coziness with you. Thanks for listening!
Much love,
Z.
